Timothy E. Davis
Tim practices in general civil litigation. In addition to handling personal injury matters, he advises businesses and individuals on labor and employment matters and other corporate issues. Prior to associating with Grasch & Gudalis, Tim represented individuals in the areas of medical malpractice, employee rights and federal and state employment discrimination cases.
As a complement to his practice, Tim has published two articles: “Beyond the Cat’s Paw: An Argument for Adopting a ‘Substantially Influences’ Standard for Title VII and ADEA Liability” and “Fletcher v. University Hospitals of Cleveland: The New Certainty in the Affidavit of Merit Requirement Process.” Tim has also been a featured guest on HR Watches The Office, discussing legal issues pertaining to corporate ethics and workplace injuries.
Tim graduated from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2007), where he won both of the school’s oral advocacy competitions as a first year law student. He was a member of the Moot Court Board, an Associate Editor of the Northern Kentucky Bar Review, and received the CALI Book Award for Advanced Appellate Advocacy. He also graduated from Harding University (B.A., cum laude, 2004). Licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky, Tim practices in state and federal courts throughout the area.
