Timothy Davis

Tim practices in general civil litigation and he advises businesses and individuals on labor and employment matters and other corporate issues.  Prior to associating with Grasch Law, Tim represented individuals in the areas of medical malpractice, employee rights and federal and state employment discrimination cases.

As a complement to his practice, Tim has published two articles: “Beyond the Cat’s Paw: An Argument for Adopting a ‘Substantially Influences’ Standard for Title VII and ADEA Liability” and “Fletcher v. University Hospitals of Cleveland: The New Certainty in the Affidavit of Merit Requirement Process.”  Tim has also been a featured guest on HR Watches The Office, discussing legal issues pertaining to corporate ethics and workplace injuries.

Tim graduated from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law (J.D., cum laude), where he won both of the school’s oral advocacy competitions as a first year law student.  He was a member of the Moot Court Board, an Associate Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review, and received the CALI Book Award for Advanced Appellate Advocacy.   Tim is active in the Lexington Community and works as a member of the board of directors of both the Explorium, Kentucky’s only Children’s Museum, and ProgressLex.  Licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky, Tim practices in state and federal courts throughout the area.
